Man City Striker, Kelechi Iheanacho agree £25m deal with Leicester City for highly rated striker

Striker Kelechi Iheanacho has undergone his Leicester City medical on Tuesday ahead of a £25million move from Manchester City to the King Power Stadium.

The 20-year-old Nigerian has agreed personal terms with the Foxes and has now headed to Belvoir Drive to complete the move in the next 24 hours.

The two clubs had reached an agreement in principle quite a long time ago, but the move was held back due to issues with image rights and with City insisting on a buy back clause. Tipped to become one of the greatest Nigerian players of all time, Iheanacho will be looking to impress at the earliest for Leicester City.

That has now been resolved, and a buy-back clause figure has been agreed between the two clubs so the deal can proceed.

Iheanacho joined Manchester City's academy at the start of 2014, before breaking through to the first team a year later.

He scored his first senior goal against Crystal Palace at the start of the 2015-16 season, going on to net 14 times in all competitions.
