Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo has joined Juventus in deal worth 100m euros.

The Spanish giants released a statement to confirm they had accepted Ronaldo's request to move to Italy in a deal worth €100m (£88m/$117m) plus €12m (£10.5/$14m) in additional charges.

France president, Emmanuel Macron, on Wednesday said that his government and people of France will develop infrastructure in key sector in Lagos State.

Macron made the pledge while unveiling the Alliance Francaise, a French Cultural Centre in Ikoyi, Lagos, built in collaboration with a Nigerian businessman, Chief Mike Adenuga.

Russia 2018: FIFA to pay Super Eagles £6.1 million after crashing out (See other prizes)

The Super Eagles of Nigeria and other teams that crashed out on the group stages of the 2018 World Cup will be paid £6.1 million each by the football governing body, FIFA.

Nigeria would have received £9.1 million if the match against Argentina ended in their favour.

9 killed in Lagos tanker fire, 54 vehicles burnt

The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, LASEMA, has confirmed nine people killed and 53 vehicles burnt in the aftermath of the fuel tanker explosion on Otedola Bridge, inward Berger area of Lagos, Southwest Nigeria on Thursday, the Federal Road Safety Corps said.

The FRSC also said in its update that the victims were burnt beyond recognition. There were four other serious injuries.
